Coming into work drugged?

I spent the night at my girls place, and she has a super fluffy dog that hits my allergies hard. She gave me a few benadryl that knocked my ass out, but I slept in too much and have not recovered mentally.

I came into work at like 10 and am just hoping nobody tries to talk to me, I can't focus and no caffeine seems to wake me.

Should I have just slept in and came later? How the fuck can I get my mind back, these fuckers don't seem to be wearing off.
