Companies/Brands That Will be Gone in 5 years

"Either we disrupt or we get disrupted." ~ John Chambers, Former Cisco CEO

In today's digital world, businesses that fail to adapt their business models to the rapid changes of technology will almost inevitably falter. So far in 2018, 13 large retailers, such as Claire's and Toys R Us, have gone out of business. We've all heard of the Amazon Effect and the damage it has inflicted on the retail industry as well as the potential industries that Amazon is currently planning on disrupting.

Thoughts on big-name corporations that will seize to exist in the near future?

Hopefully Sears, and if we're lucky, the zombie scourge known as Blackberry will finally decompose enough to fall apart as well.

I legit can't believe they're running with their whole, "Established in 1800 and re-committed to our values in 2016" schtick. Like dude what you're saying is you've been doing shitty shit for so long, got called out, didn't change anything, sent out a company-wide email, and made a new commercial? Wow

GoPro? Are you predicting phones get so good nobody buys them? I'd argue there's pretty much no overlap. Phones are getting more brittle if anything.
