Incoming BB analyst and looking to purchase a laptop. Not a massive specs guy but wondering what some of the best laptops are for IB type work. Have heard the X1 seems to be “best” with L380, Dell, HP etc. Looking to spend max 700 and open to all suggestions. Thanks!

I would say lenovo x1 carbon but that could be out of your price range if you need good specs. Would say it's worth the investment as your models won't freeze up constantly.
If it's just for your own personal use and PE recruiting prep, there's no need to drop dough on a nice laptop. Look into the IdeaPads from Lenovo.
Could end up being the laptop I use for WFH setup so wouldn’t mind dropping extra if that’s the case. At the moment it would just be PE recruiting etc
