What's the coolest, most unhinged post-IB thing you've heard of?
Youtuber- Sam Bucha. Dude he did Barclays and now is a globally successful youtuber.

Not in M&A but this guy i know was in GS S&T.
he ended up starting a food supply business (groceries) in the rural region in North America to drive the food costs lower for the average people living there since grocery stores are scarce in the region. out of all the performative or fancy life turnaround stories ive seen (yes, you finfluencers), i genuinely think this made me rethink about the kinds of impact you can leave to your community and surroundings.
I wonder how the margins look here. Is he self-funded or has he taken on funding? Sounds like a cool idea but am wondering what his end goal is. Sell for a nice payday or grow it organically / remain a small profitable business.
Curious if you have any more info on this? Would love to learn more // am interested in doing something similar myself
