Dealing with minimal mentorship
Currently at a small fund and I enjoy the team and work I do, but have realized that I’m experiencing minimal mentorship. The senior folks are often not in the office and instead off on trips trying to win business. This often leaves me with ebbs and flows of inordinate free times vs live deal crunches. Any advice on how to manage not having much mentorship + relatively long amounts of free time in the office? I want to stay in my industry long-term, but don’t know if jumping to a new spot before the 2-year mark is wise. Thank you all!
