Deciding what Keyboard is the best
Looking to buy a keyboard to replace the shitty Logitech one that IT gives out. I've heard the Steel Series Apex Pro is good but any other reccs would be great

bump also as i'd like a silent keyboard with a numpad still
I got the Logitech MX mechanical keyboard with brown switches. Very comfortable to type on and not too loud
Are you trying to be a streamer? You don't need an obnoxiously loud keyboard with rainbow RGB lights.
Glorious makes great keyboards for decent prices and they're not obnoxiously loud or bright with LEDs
Best to go to a local shop and try them out and see what you like. I prefer a more tactile click when I press the keys, but modified mine to be very quiet despite having my own office.
Would recommend getting a full size board for excel wizardry, plus a mouse that actually fits your hand properly.
Get a cheap mechanical with brown switches. A lot of the 'gaming' stuff is magnetic switch now which is inferior and overkill for typing
bloomberg keyboard
Honestly, It's not that great for typing. I am not a fan of those low profile switches. The dedicated keys are nice, but you can just get stickers for a regular keyboard and have the same functionality. Some might say "But the fingerprint reader!" Honestly, it SUCKS. I'd regularly have to take about ten swipes and need to re-enter my credentials twice when my hands were sweaty from the subway. The phone app, which uses the phone's built-in fingerprint reader is 10x better.
hah fair i don't disagree
Logitech G515. But go to Best Buy and try them all out, it comes down to preference.
Recommend Keychron
The loudest one is the best one
IBM model M. White label. Clickykeyboards sells refurbished. Not cheap, but the one and only, IMO.
They're pretty loud. I'm not disagreeing that they're great keyboards, but you really want a quiet keyboard in the office. If the entire floor can hear you typing, you're going to annoy people.
