Might get MSd for saying this but its probably the truth.

All I could bear to listen to was skimming around the podcast for 30 seconds total. You need to vastly improve your speaking quality, removing ums pauses etc. While these aren't always a deal-breaker in conversation, it's really not helping your case. Also, because you are so young, your only potential audience (I think) is people younger than you and financially illiterate college kids/adults. This video/podcast market right now is probably pretty oversatured, and the lack of attention spans aren't helping your case either. My only advice would be to turn to youtube instead and use creative and easy on the eye graphics like in these:

However, it honestly looks extremely hard to animate the characters in these so maybe even more basic in the form of just moving squares and stuff around the screen. Sorry if this isn't that helpful, this really isn't my area of expertise. All I'm trying to do is provide you with some insight into the mind of a finance major college student and trying to honestly convey that nobody has any reason to listen or watch you over anyone else. Try to get some kind of a unique edge if you want to pursue this long-term.

TLDR: If you're not passionate about video-creation or graphic design or something, don't do this. (Or who knows, partner with someone who is into graphic design). If this is simply an outlet for you for your finance knowledge and your interest in the markets, this is a waste of time and you're better off doing anything (studying technicals, reading books, getting into a target, retaking your SAT, having fun, spending time with your family). Sorry for length.

Yeah the main audience was for people who aren't financially literate. I didn't want to jump in and dump my knowledge in on the first episode, but we'll be covering the basics and stuff you sent us soon. I know the flow of the conversation wasn't great either and it seemed more people were talking than others too. We plan to improve upon constructive criticism like this every time we continue to produce content, and I appreciate your candidness. I want to make it more "listenable" rather than this sort of bland format too. Although your suggestions weren't too specific, you did say this isn't your area of expertise and it's not ours either. But when you make a podcast, you need to compensate for the lack of imagery with words, and we're all at different experience levels when it comes to the content material, which may have been somewhat obvious to you. I'm picking up what you're putting down, and I hope I'm able to impress you with any following productions.
