Delusional Or Realistic?

For the past few years I've always been focused on sports or education or getting into banking. It's only recently I am catching up in other aspects of my life. The other day I felt a connection with someone, she made me feel as if for a few moments everything will be ok and I was at peace I was madly in love. She then went very cold and left me in the dark.Since that day I've been searching for the feeling of love and a connection but yet haven't been able to find it and when I do go out with someone I feel nothing. Is the idea of finding this real or fantasy? If it's real how do I go about finding a soul mate and what age did you meet yours. (Also where did you meet them).
