Derek becomes 1st cross-division champ, Cbum 5-peat

No surprises this Olympia, everyone came in as expected. Derek becomes the 1st 212 champ to win the Open division. Hadi Choopan walks off stage.

Cbum wins his 5th title, pretty much as expected by this point.

Personally although I support Chris, I'm getting kinda bored of him dominating by this point. The classic stage needs more variety imo, it's always the same faces year by year.

I thought Derek deserved the win - I felt it was game over for Hadi already during prep when Derek posted his back updates. Hadi fans are upset and are pinning it down to racism which I genuinely thought was so bizarre. Spamming Derek's insta, pinning it down to racism. Kinda reaching imo, but maybe that's a possibility? Derek is the most humble and wholesome bodybuilder I've seen for a long time.

Hadi looked so good, everywhere. His back was a wall and he walked in there with like a double-d chest. But, I think he lacked the conditioning, he just didn't look as dry all around as Derek. Hadi definitely had much more mass though. Other than that I'm not sure, I pirated it and the whole thing was commentated in Hindi so I have to wait to get a better video before I start really judging.

The Chris thing is crazy, he is really dominating. I think some part can be attributed to Olympia politics, similar to what a lot of competitors were saying about Arnold back then. Judges can be biased at times, but I think Chris did look way better than everyone else.

In my view, I genuinely thought Derek and Chris looked better than the rest, and I called it before the Olympia. OK maybe Derek was closer to the rest, but Chris was definitely heads and shoulders above the lineup. And Derek's back is the best hands down imo - Olympias are won from the back. Was never a big fan of Hadi's physique.

The fact that Hadi and his fanbase can't take a loss, and are hating on Derek to the point where he deleted his insta says it all imo. If Derek lost he'd take it like the humble champ as he is
