The Big Short. When asked why you think something, just say “I read them!” “You read them? Not even the lawyers that put them together read them! They’re full of thousands of fucking mortgages!” “I read them.”

 

Are we talking about individual company financials modelling?  In which case it's best served with a song: 

Are we talking about how I can analyze the model you built for an algorithmic fund you want me to launch? Then it's clearly "I Know What You Did Last Summer"  

The only difference between Asset Management and Investment Research is assets. I generally see somebody I know on TV on Bloomberg/CNBC etc. once or twice a week. This sounds cool, until I remind myself that I see somebody I know on ESPN five days a week.
