Did you ever actively seek for a relationship?
I was having a discussion with a friend recently about when to pursue something consciously and when to leave things up to fate. Him and I both agree in having a better time doing the latter when if comes to relationships. I've always found that my best experiences with women come at moments when I'm not actively looking, while my most embarrassing moments happen when I am. I've tried to do the whole asking a bunch of girls out thing, but many times it's just not worth the time and energy. I'm highly considering just checking out of women and doing my own thing for the rest of college, but I'm afraid of ending up alone. What are your experiences? Did you actively search for your current partner? Did she one day magically fall on your lap and you just hit it off? Appreciate the advice.

You have to do what makes you most comfortable. It sounds like you prefer a passive approach. Obviously, you are not to date as many girls by being passive. When I was younger, the sole purpose of weekends was to go out bars and clubs and tried to hook up with females. We were pretty aggressive about it, in a mostly polite way. For some guys, it is just not a natural thing to walk up a girl and start chatting it up. Some guys are worried about getting rejected, which will absolutely happen. When you chat it up with a girl, you do not even know if she has a boyfriend or not. You may never find out, if you do not try to strike up a conversation. If you feel uncomfortable with the process, may be try to meet females through your friends.
