diversity recruiting needs major fixing and thoughts
I get that diversity recruiting aims to get more minorities and women into the industry but isn’t it absurd how white kids coming from disadvantaged families don’t have any of the same programs dedicated to them. the bigger problem is that I’ve seen tons of rich white girls and rich minorities land top jobs at these banks which defeats part of the purpose. meanwhile white and Asian guys with same scores have a much harder time. just seems like a bad system that is eventually going to be more discriminatory against white people and kinda works like affirmative action where everyone presumes u got a job cuz of diversity and not from ur talent. and with demographics changing significantly from a white to non-white pop in the US during our lifetime, do you think we will ever have diversity recruiting for white people in the future? roast any thoughtless comments
