Me and some friends will FT each other and play FIFA against each other. That's always a good way to banter a bit. Also always enjoy some COD with the fellas as well

For a long time, I couldn’t play single-player games with a story and only played online. But I recently completed RDR2 and played more than 60 hours and I’m already thinking about what to start next. Keep an eye death stranding or guardians of the galaxy

I played red dead redemption from 2018 when I was in HS to 2022 and I have over 400 hrs over 4 playthroughs. Great game, greatest game.

EU4 but cannot understand Stellaris for the life of me I’m retarded

EU4 is annoying because it has an absurd amount of DLCs. $300 worth. Great game besides that though.

Yea but I’ve been playing video games in my free time heavily for the past 5-10 years (had parents that didn’t limited tech when I was a kid so went the opposite way once I had the freedom) and have recently been trying to find other things to do. I like competitive gaming (normal modes bore me) but when I lose now it’s depressing and when I win I’m barely happier.

But I do still find myself falling back to gaming when I’m bored and want to mindlessly pass the time. I’ve always been a League degen, play OSRS casually, a bit of Apex, and sometimes random popular Steam games (played Palworld for a week or two). Only mobile game I dable in is CoC.

I heard the investment committee at CVC had to prove they were all active members in Runescape with firecapes in order to secure the bid for Jagex from The Carlyle Group

I had no idea that Carlyle owed Jagex and sold it to CVC this year. For some reason (and may have been true in the past) I thought it was owned by some random Chinese PE firm. It’s a pretty cool investment - if I were to choose a video game company to invest in it would probably be Jagex (limited number of games to inflate valuation, extremely loyal/long term player base, straightforward business model today with opportunities for long term growth). Definitely over WoW/Blizzard.

I have no clue how anyone can get home from spending 12 hours a day on the computer, and want to fire up a different computer to play games on it. I'm only on my computer for about 3-5 hours a day, and I still have no interest in spending more time on the screen

you literally went on a computer to post this.

GT7 on my PS5.  It lets me do everything I can't do IRL with my sportscar.   other than that we mostly use it as a server to put crappy vlogs on the TV (not my choice)

The only difference between Asset Management and Investment Research is assets. I generally see somebody I know on TV on Bloomberg/CNBC etc. once or twice a week. This sounds cool, until I remind myself that I see somebody I know on ESPN five days a week.

I recently started using my PS4 again to play whatever games are still supported like OW2. I was pissed when I found the latest Madden for PS4 don’t have any of the new features.

At what point is it worthwhile to upgrade to the PS5? I really don’t play much but would still like to play games occasionally.

Like 2-3 years ago.

But at this point, just hang on until end of this year/early next when the PS5 Pro drops

After I put my kid to sleep I spend 30 min sniping ppls heads off on Sniper Elite 5. Feels great to see the heads explode.
