Donald Trump vs. Lebron / Don Lemon

So, Donald Trump started yet another (Twitter) beef, this time with Lebron and Don Lemon. Apparently, both are "dumb". This was Don Lemon's response:

[EDIT: tried to embed the video but don't really know how to. Moderators, please feel free to modify it to make it easier to see]

I'd like to gauge your opinion on this matter: how do you feel about this? More specifically for Trump supporters, I'd like to go beyond his economic policies - is it really that irrelevant what he says? Are you at all concerned with the potential division he is creating in the country and the different image of the US he is projecting for the rest of the world?

It's apparent that Donald Trump plays 5D chess while everyone else can omly understand checkers. He knows that successful black athletes are a sore spot for his supporters. Nothing can be more offensive than when people who you've been told are inferior to you far eclipse anything you can hope to accomplish in life. Meanwhile if Trump can get the left constantly upset about shit that doesn't really matter he can exhaust them in order to enact whatever feudal policy him and his benefactors want next. Truly the Kasparov of 5D chess.

Trump is going around talking about "the meeting was to get dirt on HRC and I didn't know about it but even if I did collusion is not illegal anyway" and we're talking about the petty b.s. with LBJ....

I've said it many times. Anybody who's against this illegitimate "President" should be celebrating these moments instead of having outrage contests on social media. Every ridiculous unhinged thing Trump says or does is a potential victory for the people in this country that aren't blind lemmings. And the fact that the cult supports him no matter how depraved his behavior gets is just icing on the cake. I want the extremism of the Republican voter on full display.

Lemon is a fucking loser and the day I take advice from a basketball player, hell will freeze over.

I’m sure Lebon and Lemon has a nice cry and jerk fest later.

CNN needs to be declared the enemy of the state.

I’m glad you’re tired of the “all athletes are dumb” shit.

I’m not taking advice from someone who is obviously partisan and a fucking athlete. White, black, whichever sport.

You want to take a world view from levron, fine. I think he should stick to drinking sprite and crying when he loses the NBA championship.

And CNN is worthless trash. It isn’t news, it is anti American fantasy. I’d rank it with the DPRK news.

Being an American use to MEAN something. But one thing that's funny about Trump: he's the most ghetto person I've ever seen south of 125th or outside of SE DC. I always thought it'd be some black person to go into the white house and be mad ghetto, paint it black, and put rims on the Beast, and maybe even turn Air Force One purple. Instead, it's Trump who wants to turn Air Force One into some ghetto ass loud color! Couldn't be more please that it's Trump killing off the prestige in what it means to be American, not some black guy or something.

Lemon would not be a thorough interviewer if he didn't bring up Trump because 1.) LBJ supported HRC 2.) Trump discusses and brings up sports all the time 3.) Trump has uninvited championship teams from the White house 4.) Trump commented on the whole kneeling protest and continues to do so and 5.) LBJ has commented on Trump in the past. It's up to the POTUS to ignore comments from random celebrities but since we have a man-child in office that was never going to happen. So glad to live in America, in another country this dude could really destabilize things.

I guess?

To retort: 1.) the election was ~2 years ago 2.) Trump talks about a lot of stuff 3.) Some what relevant, but would be more if LeBron had won a championship over the past two years 4.) LeBron talks about a lot of stuff too

It would be like if Lemon interviewed Clint Eastwood about a recent movie, and thought, can't not ask him about Eisenhower.

LeBron just opened a school, he just signed to the Lakers. That's what the interview should have been about.

So serious question, how do Trump supporters feel after the whole Putin/Russian-friending Helsinki incident? Not an American, but from an outsider looking in, it just feels like everything is crazy town. If anyone but Trump, who seems to get an unlimited number of mulligans, did and said what he had, I’d imagine they’d have their head on a pike...

Is there a breaking point for the educated Trump supporters? If so, what is it was it?
