0min WFH

10 minutes. Hybrid so only 40 minutes driving total to/from office a week. Previously was commuting 12.5 hours so cut my travel time down by nearly 19x.

Quality of life is insanely better

10min each way. Typical rush hour rules where each minute delay adds two minutes to the commute.

WFH. Most I'd consider is 15-20 min, ideally in biking distance.

Did a hour long + commute out of college and it's soul crushing. You couldnt get me to do that again for a 70% salary increase being serious. If that's the kind of torture you put yourself through then you are fucking up your life

I think about 17-18 minutes for my new job I just started

What kind of job is it?

NYC:

1st job (IB) was a 20 minute walk / 7 minute Citibike to the office

2nd job (PE) now a 25min (door-to-door) subway in the morning and 15-20min Uber in the evening since I stayed in the same apartment

Overall the commute is not bad but I much preferred walking or biking, especially since it was through a nice neighborhood (not Midtown). Walking to work on a warm, sunny day is amazing.

30-35 min on a good day, but as much as 1hr15min if I get fucked at the metro transfer. Really sucks.

cycling 50mins but that is really exercise as well. by train around 40+ mins.

I'm only going to the office like once a week and thats only so I dont feel like a weirdo sitting in my house all day everyday.
