Drinking at Work Dinners

I've had the opportunity to go to many work dinners with clients, law firms, etc. over the past few years and have come to learn that a common sequence of drinking at these dinners would always be:

- Cocktail before dinner. I usually get a Whiskey Sour.
- Wine with dinner. Many many glasses of wine.
- Bourbon after diner. Neat.

I've noticed that lawyers in particular love to get obliterated at work dinners and always have the most fun when going to nice restaurants with them. I'm interested to see how other people drink at formal work dinners.
