If your on the company dime, head over to The Capital Grille they have a great steak. My other favorite is America's, a really good S. American inspired place

Capital Grille is good but you can get that in any city in America.

Pappas Bros.

Vic and Anthonys

If you have a car, are feeling adventurous, and possess a very generous dinner policy (not that the above are cheap by any means) there is a place called Killen's in the burbs that is supposedly amazing. Haven't been there personally but supposedly it is the best thing going.

(Morton's is my preference among the chains)

knaegeliI'm in Houston all week. Anyone interested in grabbing a drink some evening? I'd love to know where to get a good steak too while I'm on the company's dime.

If you're looking to get a bigger meetup going, there are a lot of WSO guys in Houston. You can create an event here: http://www.wallstreetoasis.com/events

Just name the place and time and I'm sure some people will show to say hi.

Have fun! Patrick

Fuck a steak. Ask Monty where he took TNA, Yuriy A and I for tacos. That shit was incredible.

If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses - Henry Ford

Pappas Bros steakhouse for great steaks and incredible service (they promote from within, steakhouse servers are the best-of-the-best).

Pappas Burger for the best damn hamburger you'll ever have.

I miss Texas.

Nothing short of everything will really do.

spacebananaTaste of Texas off of I-10 is great if you re feeling steak.

Personally, I think this place has the best steak for the value. And their salad bar is ridiculously awesome.
