Econ vs Comp Sci. Minor OR Both?

Hey guys I was wondering whether I should minor in economics or computer science (majoring in finance). I'm definitely learning anatomy and physiology on my own time as a complement with my strong interest for weightlifting. I was thinking if it was worth doing a double-minor (econ. only 3 extra courses, while comp. sci. would probably be 6 extra courses, but I will take summer classes.)

Just get a double major and a minor. That's what I did.

How much school do you have left?

If i had to choose one, i'd prob choose Comp Sci. Economics falls more hand in hand with your finance major already and plus it's one of those things you can easily learn on your own in a practical manner. CS, while you can take a programming bootcamp, is harder to learn on your own and is a subject that you want to get the accreditation for. Getting the accreditation for a econ minor isn't as necessary/strong as getting it for CS. Just my thoughts - plus I think CS is interesting and ever more useful in our world today.

Agreed! Thank you so much. I've decided to possibly double major in comp sci and finance!

Double major in CS and Finance, and minor in Econ. Definitely take an econometrics class, and try to take a couple math/stats classes too as that will help all 3.
