If he hasn't been hacked, Elon has gone off the rails today.

He tweeted not only that his company stock was too high, but also the lyrics to the national anthem and that he is selling all of his possessions including his house. He also change his profile picture to an old Deus Ex video game logo, etc.

I love Tesla cars and I love his initiative with SpaceX, but someone needs to change his password.

99% sure this is legit and he hasn't been hacked. This is within character so I wouldn't be surprised whatsoever and he has been tweeting stuff like this for days (obviously the Tesla tweet was an outlier). So how long does it take to repossess a hacked account and make some kind of statement that you were hacked? Surely not an entire ~week. And he has had that new profile pic for days now as well. This is not new.

Well, if Musk tweets that his own stock is over valued, of course it fall dramatically. Let's say the stock drops another 30%, that might be a good buying opportunity for investors...

A little bit late to the party here but I'll give my 2c.

Basically, Elon tweeting out "Open America" came before the initial tweet about the share price. To be charitable to him, this is likely based on the fact that he wanted to be seen as principled (taking a classical libertarian stance) when talking about Government overreach. I'm not making a commentary about whether or not the government has overreacted, all I am saying is that to display to the public that you genuinely care about the principled points against government overreach, doing something that would deliberately take down your share price demonstrates that he was advocating opening the economy for corporate/personal gain (i.e. economy opens --> people are willing to buy cars --> more sales for TSLA.)

Either that or he is drunk/high...

You can't demand people think outside of the box and at the same time comply with the box rules.

It's one or the other.

Never discuss with idiots, first they drag you at their level, then they beat you with experience.

ya'll never heard of the tank your stock price and repurchase shares arb jig?..... smfh
