Entitled Brat Complaining to Managing Partner

This happened at an alumni networking event a few days ago. I was chatting with a Managing Partner from an elite boutique when, all of a sudden, some girl approaches us in a somewhat confrontational manner. I can't remember what she said exactly but she was being so damn stubborn and kept on asking why her application to his firm in ANOTHER country was rejected. I was cringing so hard and he was obviously trying to deal with this situation without making her feel bad.

Eventually, the MP told her it could have something to do with her CV and, of course, she pulls out a copy of her CV from her purse. She was so convinced that her CV was great and that she deserved an interview. After he took a look at it, he was indirectly trying to tell her that her CV isn't that special but she didn't seem to take the hint at all. A few minutes later, he just gave up, pitifully gave her his business card and told her to email him her CV so that he could tell her what needs to be changed. What an AWKWARD encounter. I haven't cringed that much in a long while.

It's a shame that some people fail to realize that they are the ones that need to change certain things about themselves instead of blaming others for why things aren't going there way. Entitled and clueless.

What is the point of this? The girl was an entitled brat, but it sounds like she got treated exactly as she deserved; a polite dismissal. She didn't get the job, she didn't badmouth anyone else; I'm not condoning her behavior I'm just wondering what you're looking for in posting the story. Everyone has met someone like this, probably multiple someones.
