Favorite podcast episodes?
Have been seeing a lot of the same podcasts recommended (capital allocators, invest like the best, acquired) and saw that there’s a whole lot of interviews ranging in quality. Was curious if there were any particular episodes of finance/business podcasts that stood out to you
Honestly, my long-time favourite has been Freakonomics. The podcast dives into micro-ecosystems that I'd never even thought of and come in with an objective lens. There were some great interviews like "10 Myths About Taxes" and their most recent one looked into multi-vitamin industry in great depth. They also had some way out of left field like the horse-racing and horse-breeding ecosystem that I didn't even think was still around in 2026.
The Restructuring Room probably has the best 2 distressed m&a episodes out there (weinstein company episodes w lantern)
Try to avoid listening to business podcasts. It is just people trying to sell you on their business.
