I'd say Hornitos is my go to but like to mix it up. Patron to sip, Casamigos some, 1800 and Jose are even fine for a budget pick but I am no expert.
Clase Azul reposado is my MF jam. Don Julio is good. Patron silver is good

Clase reposado is great. Definitely worth trying,just don't break the bottle hitting the bell
On the cheaper side but still good - Casamigos, Espolon, Corralejo Anejo
will second Espolon for a good cheaper tequila. It's my go to for margs.
I was sitting next to this chick at lunch at the bar of a Mexican place in NYC a couple years ago. Saw her ordering a ton of drinks - like 10 drinks. Turns out she was an Espolòn rep. I noticed this and kindly asked for a 'taste' of these concoctions. She tasted them first and then passed them onto me - I killed all of the drinks and she said I could have an open tab on Espolòn tequila that day. I just went for a casual lunch and really had nothing to do that day so took her word for it and got hammered. Gotta love random NYC encounters.
You should have seen this chick talk on her phone. She was a badass. Mover and a shaker - and she was super hot too. Definitely wifey material, but she didn't stick around for super long - she had another meeting somewhere else and had to go. We did exchange numbers, but nothing happened.

Coming from a Mexican, most of the tequilas mentioned on this thread are honestly trash and overpriced. Please try the ones I mentioned, you won’t regret it
I had a good time on the beach in Sayulita Mexico with some Centenario among friends - was good time. 3 of us killed the bottle on the beach watching the sunset.
Sounds like a hell of a time man. Centenario is fucking perfect for those occasions with the lads
