Federer vs. Nadal: Throwback Open

I’m not sure how many of you are tennis fans, but this year’s Australian Open final is a real gift to all sports fans. The Williams sisters are both in the Slam final for the first time since 2009, and one of the greatest tennis rivalries of all time lives on this Sunday when Federer and Nadal face off in the finals. Both are battling age and injuries yet still somehow find themselves in this improbable throwback match.

Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal will meet in the Australian Open final, continuing the rivalry between two of the greatest players ever. This will be their record ninth meeting in a men’s Grand Slam final. Between them, they share a ridiculous combined 31 Slams—17 for Fed, 14 for Nadal.

I’m pulling for Federer like I always do, it would be amazing to see him snap his losing streak to Rafa in the finals and add on to his record number of Slams at 35 years old. Anyone else excited for this match? It does start at 3:30am ET though so it's definitely going to require some dedication to watch.
