Finance in North Carolina outside of Charlotte

Hello everybody! I'm finishing up my first year at UNC and applying to the Kenan-Flagler school. I was wondering if there are many firms outside of Charlotte in North Carolina (in Raleigh/Durham or the Triad). I'm from the northeast so I don't really know much about the local scene here yet.
