Would it make any sense to transfer into a school like Villanova/Tulane/Fordham from a non target? I'm a rising junior and most deadlines for other schools like the ivies are done.

As far as transferring goes, grades alone won't cut it. Assuming you have a 3.5+ and some good extracurriculars (officer in a club or frat, student government) and work experience, you'll have a chance. But you've missed everyone's deadline for next year. You'll be transferring and then have 2 years left.
If you do exceptionally well these next two years (aim for a 4.0), get some good EC's/WE, you could look at something like UVA's MS in Commerce. That would get you into WS recruiting and be more productive than spending another year in UG.
It won't take more time. I'm in business and yeah new hampshire. Good school, but obviously you think otherwise for what I'm going for. I have good grades and work experience and could've gotten into a top 40 or whatever, but obv deadlines for most schools have passed (not all though). Would it be worth it to attend one of the aforementioned?
I would transfer to Villanova ASAP. Grades and extracurriculars are crucial.
My grades and "stats" are definitely good enough, but why Villanova? Just curious as to why you're recommending it.
I'm honestly not sure which is better between Fordham and Villanova, Tulane doesn't compare to either (due to cost, location). Also, it doesn't matter that it's a good school. There are a lot of good schools. It's not a great school and I doubt UNH places a lot of people on WS, which is what you want.
Also, I don't know why you don't think it will take more time. Most universities require that you earn 60 credits at that institution to transfer. You said you're a rising junior and app deadlines have passed I'm pretty sure.
If you want Wall Street, Fordham or Villanova is probably your best bet (I'm giving the edge to Fordham, I know 'nova gets people on the street, but Fordham is in NYC and I personally know people who have made it from Fordham).
I really think if you're going to spend an extra year in undergrad (if that ends up being the case), you should go for a TOP MCom or MFin (Princeton, UVA, etc). If you kill it at one of those, I think it'll look good if you end up applying to MBA programs.
No, I'm saying most deadlines have passed but a good deal haven't yet. Only the top 20 school deadlines have passed, but you can still apply right now to head to the new school in the coming fall. It won't take an extra year. Rising junior means this coming year and the school year after (class of '15)
I'm also interested in the Houston/Atlanta offices and not entirely stuck on NY only like a lot of people on this board are. I would prefer working at a nicer company, ie evercore, in a southern location as opposed to some random mm in ny. Which is why I thought Tulane, being much higher up relative to its peers in the south, as opposed to villanova/fordham might be better for me. This also goes for chi/la as well, I care much more about the experience than the location.
Okay, gotcha, I'd definitely apply to Fordham and Villanova, but do it right. the fuck. now. Even if the deadline is June 1, you want to get it in ASAP. Make sure your essays are baller, too.
