Finance & Warhammer 40k

Overheadonwallstreet just posted a meme using a Spacemarine II clip, and it got me wondering, how many of you guys are into Warhammer 40k?

I was a pretty big nerd growing up (Magic the Gathering, D&D, Warhammer 40k), but haven’t had that much time to get back into any of those old hobbies since hitting the desk. Also not the easiest thing to bring up in conversation at the office with other analysts lol. Had about 6,000 points of various armies before I sold them off to downsize during my move. Just curious if there are any other finance professionals out there that are into these sorts of things.

I can definitely see myself getting back into it after banking, and would love to have a hobby like this with my kids one day if they’re into it too.

Warhammer wasn't my type of nerd, but you better believe that a bunch of guys who got to where they are because they got good grades and test scores their entire life are nerds in some way.

When I was a SA I could just sense that one of the FT analysts was a MTG nerd. Surely WH40k isn’t that far beyond the pale
