Financial Modeling World Cup?

“”

Did anyone else know this was a thing? I was scrolling on the ESPN app today trying to find F1 (it was buried behind a plethora of mid-major college basketball) and came across something called the “Financial Modeling World Cup. I can’t post the link cuz I’m a new user but if you look it up on YouTube it’ll be first result. Was mostly case-type modeling as opposed to classic IB/PE stuff, but still kind of cool problems. Do you know of any excel monkeys good enough to compete at this level?

Not if Valve can bank as much money as they do on the DoTA championship and make it so big that it becomes a nationally televised event on ESPN! Cue the lurking and wet blanket "but it's the best way to spend your time in lockdown during the pandemic since we have to social distance or stay away from crowds anyways!" reason.
