In terms of first year analyst pay, banks bump pay from year to year. When do these pay bumps happen for analysts? For example for MS- does your pay get bumped from 110 to 125k In January following your half year? (think there's a post somewhere with standard IB salaries)

Wait but don't you get promoted to associate in 2.5 years? So you only get Analyst3 pay for half a year?
most firms promote to associate in August, you essentially start the same time as the MBA associates hit the desk
