For WSO users from NYC: What is your favorite NYC Football team?
So I was wondering since I presume that the majority of this forum's userbase is either in or aspires to live in the New York area, what is their favorite NFL team (and MLB/NBA/NHL team if you follow them) given how NYC has two teams? I am also curious if there is a consensus on what the more "Finance Broey" teams are or if it is pretty divided or people rooting for hometown team (if not from NYC) among people working in finance.
NYC doesn't have any teams, FYI.
I know MetLife is in New Jersey but they are NYC’s teams by proximity and identify with New York over the state they are in.

Yeah I am a die hard Browns fan so I can relate to the plight of the Jets. I was just wondering what demographics support the Giants and what support the Jets.
You will find a sporadic number of Buffalo Bills fans around here. Giants reign supreme. The only folks that become Jets fans around here are those who grew up with parents who were Jets fans - I don't think I know any that became one organically lmao (granted, the 2000s Jets had some really fun years - few conference championship runs and Chad Pennington pre shoulder injury was a very legit QB).
Mets / Yankees, you'll probably see a 20-30% / 70-80% split. My immigrant parents started their life in Queens and I was born there so I have a soft spot for that borough (only borough I would consider living long term with a family if I ever move back to NYC). I'm not a hardcore fan but there was a lot of playful jokes amongst fans of both teams where I grew up.
NBA, 99% of NYC and its surroundings love the Knicks. Very rare to find a true long-term Nets fan in the NYC area, I've met 1-2.
NHL - same logic across Islanders / Rangers as the Mets / Yankees.
No one really follows the MLS but that might change given the NYC FC club got a really nice stadium now. Red Bulls are in NJ.
Non–raised Jets fan here, we exist (haven't smiled in years).
Most people in finance around the city tend to lean towards the Giants or Jets for football, but it is pretty split depending on where people grew up.
Jints. Been a fan from before Eli championships and back to the lean years.
Establish the run game, stretch the field, hard nosed defense. Football as it should be.
