Forming a study and support group for self studying financial models

Would you guys be down for setting up a side chat for those of us who are self studying financial modelling? I left banking too early and have to self train. I am currently going through WSO and [BIWS] materials.

To be honest, it’s always been an area of weakness for me. I did time as an analyst but the shop that I was at used very simple models. After business school. I went into the PE arm of an investment bank and we also were very heavily dependent on a template, and the analysts did most of the modelling, so my work was more business development, Research, and negotiations.

I’ve always felt that modelling has been an area of weakness. when it’s come up in the past on projects I have always failed. It May not be the most critical thing to work on to fix now, but it still is a good idea to do so
