it's not hitting anyone hard. if it wasn't for, ramanjeet, somethingatinder all marketing this "music" 24/7 in ethnic ghettoes, ethnic conclaves - nobody would care. since the demography is extremely narrow minded and only thumps their ethnic tune, the rest of the world has to suffer. none of this is given any attention by those outside the punjabi community or canada punjab locales. this high volume low IQ "music" has 0 market value in bengali, tamil, telugu, marati, parsi,sindhi community, or to non-indians. I'd say K-POP is more relevant in northeast india than this stuff. I grew up on american rap and hip hop - a lot of this is low-grade entertainment for punjabi peasantry passing off as "novelty". it's so cringe.... dodge challengers with licenses plate "AK-47", "BANDOOK". the tone deafness and depth of the ethnocentric echo chamber is so deep in this community they don't even know how cringe it is to outsiders

This stuff is manufactured garbage on par with the stereotypical pop rock trash of the 90s/2000s and label and mass produced pop/hip hop mass marketed today.
