Taking 500mg of test a week to become a better investment banker

Recently landed an SA role at a BB and have been thinking about how I can maximise my performance before starting.

From what I’ve seen, the best bankers tend to be extremely confident, aggressive, competitive and relentlessly driven. I feel like having higher testosterone levels would naturally help with all of these traits, particularly when it comes to asserting myself in the office, staying focused for long hours and having the motivation to outperform other analysts.

I’m seriously considering starting 500mg of testosterone a week before my internship. I don’t really work out much, maybe once or twice a month, so I’m not particularly interested in the muscle-building benefits. This would be purely for the psychological and professional advantages.

My thinking is that if I can increase my aggression, confidence, focus and drive, I’ll have a significant advantage over the other summer analysts, particularly when it comes to securing a return offer. I’m also hoping the increased testosterone will help me become more assertive around associates and VPs rather than just agreeing with everything they say.

Has anyone here experimented with testosterone specifically for career performance rather than bodybuilding? Would 500mg be sufficient to see noticeable improvements in my banking ability? I’m willing to deal with some side effects if it means improving my chances of getting a return offer.
