French Bull Dog

I like big dogs. But French Bull Dogs look so cute. I live in an apartment building so I feel like the size of the french bull dog will be manageable. Grew up with yellow labs and German Shepard. French Bull Dog seems doable. your thoughts? What are some good dogs for apartment living?

I have a boston terrier which everyone assumes is a frenchie and it's a great apartment dog. Need to let energy loose, but 20-30 min chasing a tennis ball at the dog park is all he needs and he mostly sleeps and snore all day. He also won't stay out more than 2 min if it's raining or cold which works with me. Was a little crazy the first 2 years, but then most puppies are.

A thing to know about frenchie is that even though they are ridiculously expensive, they tend to have health issues and their lifespan isn't very long. I know I am biased, but if you like frenchie, I would suggest you look into boston terrier. They don't have as many health issues, are more active / fun and live much longer. And they are the first american breed ;)

Keeping a dog in an apartment is pretty cruel. Then again, the breed you're getting is inbred to shit and will almost certainly suffer from arthritis and breathing problems. So who's to say.

heister: Look at all these wannabe richies hating on an expensive salad. https://arthuxtable.com/

Look at the other dog post (front page right now) and then look about breeds on google, not WSO. Before getting into breeds, think about whether you can own any dog (or still want to) which the other post talks about
