Garmin vs Whoop

I’ll keep this pretty short. I currently have a Whoop and love the data and insights it gives me, but I can’t really justify a subscription for a wristband. I’m looking to get a Garmin for a little more utility while still being able to track fitness stats (sleep, resting heart rate, HRV, etc.). Any recommendations for Garmins or other fitness watches that people use?

I’ve had a Garmin fenix for 6 years and it is still going strong. Highly recommended.

I have the Garmin Forerunner. It's phenomenal for tracking runs and HRV, strain, heart rate, etc. There's a lot of function I haven't fully explored if you're really into running like training plans, built in circuit training (like fartleks, pace changes, etc). Way better than my Fitbit. I will say the sleep tracking is not as good as Fitbit. For example I woke up probably 6 times throughout the night last night but it says I had a 91 sleep score and was asleep the whole time. Fitbit would definitely pick up on that and probably give me a score in the 70s. But I find the sleep score a bit overkill - nice to have but at the end of the day if you're controlling for what you can control (no alcohol before bed, giving yourself enough time to rest) the score is kind of irrelevant and a bit of a stressor.

If you golf the higher end Garmin's double as a range finder too.
