[quote=Foreign Policy]Brazil and Germany today joined forces to press for the adoption of a U.N. General Resolution that promotes the right of privacy on the internet, marking the first major international effort to restrain the National Security Agency's intrusions into the online communications of foreigners, according to diplomatic sources familiar with the push.[/quotes]

When I saw the topic title cutoff I sort of expected it to be a union proponing their promotion to permanent member status, just a matter of time until Germany gets it.

If you're not a Permanent Member of the Security Council your opinion is pretty much meaningless. lol Anyway, I wonder if this is actual disgust (hopefully) or just the leaders feigning it to placate the proles. I feel like all the NSA shit couldn't have been that big of a secret for all the first world intelligence agencies.
