Girlfriend & full time offer
Hi WSO,
My girlfriend and I both are in IB and just landed an internship offer at the same tier 1 BB. Considering how unlikely this is and how fusional we are, you can imagine how over the moon we were.
However I got a question, we were wondering if being in a relationship would affect the odds of both getting the full time offer after the internship ?
For context: we are based in Europe, but I am not sure it matters as I guess the same rules apply for all offices when it comes to BBs. We will obviously behave professionally when at work. But as banks like BBs typically ask if you are in a relationship with another employee, we figured it was a potentiel criterion when it comes to return offers. Any insights / feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much !
don’t disclose as interns unless they ask. just make sure you both work hard to secure the return offer. Don’t lie if asked if you r in a relationship as they will find out once your full time one way or another
