I submitted my application on Nov. 24, 2014 and I haven't heard back from anyone. Is this bad?

Do you usually hear ghosts?
I can only speak for London office. An analyst told me they only review applications after the deadline. End Jan, I got my rejection email and friend got his first round, for which he got feedback end Feb.
I haven't heard anything yet. However my application status did change to "Under Review" about 1 month ago and that someone would contact me shortly but still nothing.
Expect to hear from them in the first half of 2015. It takes time. Usually, this means a negative answer.
