good programs for Energy

Was browsing around on www.msfhq.com to look for energy programs and saw that Texas and Tulane would be very fitting. Anyone else have any ideas what good post graduate programs would be particularly aimed towards a career in the energy trading field?

Focus on Tulane. They are rolling out an energy specialization which will be great. Outside of that you might look at MFE programs for general trading or Princeton. Chicago based MSF programs might place well for trading although most likely not energy focused. Hit up Monty09. He knows the energy landscape exceptionally well.

Monty, what kind of skills and what career does one need to have as a trader in the energy markets. Also I notice some oil majors have a sales and trading program for MBA's. So i am wondering if MBA can be route into trading and if so what kind of schools should i be targetting

^^Great way to get the sales pitch in there.

Those are going to be my child's first words....Always Be Closing.

This is what is great about finance people. You can say something so simple as ABC and everyone knows what you mean. Just the tip. More dangerous than Russian roulette

That's the beauty of ABC......you can "close" a lot of things.

I'm curious, what were your daughter's first word/words?
