Edmundo, Google already has Google docs which offers something similar to what you describe. While waves could become a major part of our personal lives, I doubt anything will replace existing tools in the near future, simply because it's so new and untested. Another reason is because waves represent a much more fundamental change in technology, i.e, Cloud computing. It's a cool concept, and lots of research is going on in it, but it'll be a long long while before it becomes the standard in business.

But try to imagine what it was like in 1995 (I don't have to because I remember). The Internet was a total game changer, and email (hotmail) was the avant garde back then. This is the same thing. A total game changer. While it took Netscape and AOL and others a few years to make the web ubiquitous, I think Wave will catch on in a year or less. When you see it you'll know what I mean. It will change the way we do business and years from now we'll have a hard time remembering life before it.
