GS NR is absolutely crushing it

Just came across this post from a few weeks back on GS' linkedin page. Spoke to a friend in the group and they said they're crushing it — best $ volume performance across all the groups, with 25% of total M&A activity globally. Next biggest group isn't even close (<20%)...

What are people's thoughts on this? Short term phenomenon due to macroeconomic factors?

I think theyr'e saying natural resources as an industry is more than 25% of total activity globally, not the specific GS NR group
