guess i'll do one too

1) 21 years old, male, graduating this semester (economics)

2) Also a huge NFL/NBA fan. Watch all Texans games and most other NFL games as well. Watch most Rockets games or at least check out the box scores. Daryl Morey is my hero lol. My dad actually emailed him around christmas time a few years ago asking if he had a business/finance book that he really recommended. Bought me the suggestion as a present, still have it on my shelf.

Where else did you guys apply?

I applied to Villanova, WUSTL, and BC as well. But I have lived in Houston forever and love all things Houston. Including the Rockets and Texans. I live and die by the Rockets. If we could step up our defense, I think we have a shot at having an excellent team. We could be fantastic roommates if you are looking for one. By the way, what is the book that Morey recommended?

Yeah sounds like we'd be a very nice fit as roommates. I'm still not quite sure what i'm going to do with housing. They let grad students stay in the on-campus facilities from what i've read, and i'm trying to figure out exactly what the costs would be and how they compare to off campus. If off campus looks like the better option i'll definitely hit you up man.

The book was "Modern Competitive Analysis" by Sharon Oster (prof at Yale). It incorporates lots of economics and has less buzzword bullshit than most management texts so i'm guessing that's why Morey liked it.

Applied at SMU, was gonna apply to Villanova, Tulane, and Vanderbilt but decided against it. I can tell you no matter where you're living in Austin it's gonna be expensive. But the more roommates the cheaper it gets, so if y'all are interested I've been looking at some houses near UT campus and downtown.

I went to LSU, majored in Economics. Graduated in May 2012 and have been messing around in Austin ever since. I am all about college football, but enjoy the NFL games as well, not huge on basketball though.
