Somewhat off-topic but I just finished this documentary about the development of Half-Life 1 over 25 years ago:
And I am just amazed by the level of thoughtfulness (within the chaos of the dev process) and creativity of the early Valve team.
Maybe game development is indeed a better way than banking to spend 14 hrs days in front of a PC?
