Happy Needs Help.
I was hoping some of you monkey/gym rat wannabes could give me some ideas for a new playlist to listen to while I wow the bitches with my weightlifting prowess. I am sick of the one I have but can't seem to come up with anything worth adding to the old iPod. Any and all suggestions will be considered and possibly made fun of.
First person to say Rachel Black will get no less than 20 monkey shits.
The Black Keys/Big Boi "mash up" is pretty boss http://www.freewilliamsburg.com/big-boi-vs-the-black-keys-a-mashup-albu…
You can listen there but dl link is busted. I'm sure if you look you can find it. If not and you are interested I will get off my comp and send space it to ya...
N/M, this is where I dl'ed it from... Give it a listen, pretty sick.

Depends, are you looking for this mall/super bowl half-time/sweet 16 music everyone is suggesting, or do you want something heavier?
www.fratmusic.com has some good playlists.
If you have an iPhone, get the Pandora app. Problem solved.
(Btw it's Rebecca* Black, not Rachel Black)
Rammstein- Du Hast
Benny Benassi. Eurotrash rocks!
I've been listening to a lot of Hall & Oates lately.
Not the best for throwing around the iron, though.
"Run" (the Ratatat remix with Ghostface Killah)
AIB, why not some Sigur Ros while you're at it?
Happy, what about Kashmir by Zepplin? Anything during the David Lee Roth era of Van Halen is pretty rightous. Some B-Sides by The Stones and Aerosmith aren't bad at all. I'd also look at Metallica, Anthrax and a little known Danish Heavy Metal band called Volbeat.
What about Dropkick Murphy, Sex Pistols and The Clash? While we're on it, Dead Kennedys, Rancid and NOFX should all be considerd.
Great call, that's for the yoga session. I prefer Quarashi when I'm bench pressing the 20's....
I'm Justin Bieber'd down to the socks.
When the Levee Breaks - Zeppelin - the hard, steady bass is money. This used to be the closing track to my workout when I just needed to pump through. Hells Bells - AC/DC Made you look - Nas Amazing - Kanye West - get the remix with Young Jeezy
Lifting: Hatebreed - Destroy Everything, Live for This, pretty much anything off the last CD anything Metallica Madball - mi Familia Life of Agony - River Runs Red CD Saliva - Welcome to the Show DKM - all of it
Endurance training: anything by Music as Medicine Gunther [yeah it's fruity but the beat track is cool] Armin Van Buren - State of Trance 2008 cHeMiCaL BrOtHeRs
I perfer to listen to things from NSYNC, Back Street Boys, Jimmy Buffet, The Beach Boys, assorted country, awesome movie theme songs and what not when I ride my bike or do spin classes. While I do strength training I usually play house of pain Jump Around on a non stop endless loop every once in a while I'll throw It's Hip to be Square in there just to change it up a bit. While you may laugh at the boy band music I find that while singing along with it at a rather unnecessary voulme some how makes the ladies in the spin classes group around me and giggle uncontrolably.
Textures - Surreal State of Enlightenment Animals as Leaders - CAFO Animals as Leaders - Wave of Babies Periphery - FRAK THE GODS Cloudkicker - Ever Thus to Deadbeats Chimp Spanner - Bad Code
Like! All the bands i didn't know of before, too. Thanks
Eminem, 50 Cent, Dre, 50 Cent, Jay-Z, Bone Thugs, 2pac, Geto Boys, etc. Just add full albums and toss out the less active songs.
Pandora app on Iphone/Ipod. Can't beat it.
Damn it feels good to be a banker
My Jeans by Jenna Rose.
P.S (I know i will get monkey shit for this) haha
dont know if you like it but i pump this a lot in the gym, pretty raw stuff.
Snowgoons & Lord Lush - A fist in the thought
you can pretty much take any song from that cd
I have this problem as well. I don't keep up with music all that well and really need some college meathead to whip me up playlists. Wait, shouldn't you be doing this for me?
But here are a couple songs I recently tossed on my lifting playlist that I'm digging.
Image of the invisible - thrice rebirth - lil wayne gold guns girls - metric *Hammerhead - Offspring
Hatebreed, Rammstein, Eisbrecher, any New German Hardness, really...
Thanks fellas.

Ha! You're the one who tipped me off to it!
Fourtantely I can easily advoid the horrible music that is modern day 12 year olds singing the worst possible songs, I never thought I would say this but there are signifant advantages to having a hearing loss.
My favorite thing ever:

Happy, your welcome... I got two more for you...
The first is by "The Damned Things", which is Scott Ian's new project. For being a metal icon, he's surprisingly nice too. Got to meet him last night after hearing The Damned Things perform.
http://www.youtube.com/embed/0cpsLUnPk1w?rel=0
The second is just awesomeness that should be listened to while lifting in general... This was the band I intended to see last night before I found out that The Damned Things were opening for them.
