Was it ever a thing? Most people I know either raw dog it on their speakers or wear AirPods.
If someone came on a zoom or teams call wearing a headset I'd probably screenshot that shit and send it to people.

I've never seen anyone with a headset on a Zoom call. Why can't you just use the laptop's mic? Seems to work fine.
