HBS cases advice

Hi people,

I recently started to read about business strategy. Sadly, the books are theoritical and therefore, feels dry. I have couple of HBS cases. I thought that as they contain practical examples, it will be good to read them. I want to ask, is there any way to utilize these cases by maximum, like should I analyze, just read, discuss with people etc.?

Thanks.

The whole point is to have a discussion in class.

All of the cases I read for class do not give you practical guidance on what to do. Rather, you're meant to prepare the case based on what was taught that week and discuss it in class. I would suggest you read the case and try to find a question set online so you can take away some lessons from it!
