Lol to be fair I had a final round interview with a girl who was older than me by a year. She was really attractive and interview went great, I had a blast with her. Alas, no offer. So, yeah you should just ask her out instead.

I may email her something which she could interpret me wanting to see her again or take things further. I mean what is the difference between finding her in a club or bar or finding her through connections. What is the worst thing that could happen?

You know, I had a similar revelation about a year ago. I was approaching networking completely wrong... I mean why do I want to sell my soul for banking when I can just apply those same skills to finding date. Better yet, why not just email girls at in banking for a date. I have no problem taking a back seat role and being a dutiful spouse if it means I can do whatever the hell I want for 16 hours a day.

Mandatory disclaimer: 0 dates with banker chicks yet.

I'd make up your mind and see if you want a job/connections or a taco from this broad. getting both would be like winning the triple crown, haven't seen anything like it since the 70s and highly unlikely today.

That would be straight ballin.

Just take her out to a mexican place, order a bunch of tacos, give her a wink and see where the night goes.*

*You may need to insert "fun" pills into said tacos if you want "desert"

by "desert" you mean "dessert" right? other way actually works since it's probably a desert there...

While it's probably a terrible idea in theory and practice, I believe you're in London where grabbing a drink with someone is much more typical than in the States. You could probably say let's grab a pint because I wanted to talk more about x, y or z (work related, not to see what color her panties are). It'll probably blow up in your face wildly but it would be an awesome story some day.

Nice save, sir. I'm kinda just playing the little devil on the shoulder but I totally think he should go for it. I mean what does he really have to lose? hahaha
