Monkeys, I was networking with a VP (M&A( at a BB yesterday and asked him his opinion of Management consultants. He mentioned that he thought of them as flaky guys who did 'no real work'. I am not trying to ruffle any feathers here but considering that Banking and Consulting are preferred career choices after B-School, what is the general perception about Consulting?
