How do you make a PowerPoint regarding a proposal? What is the structure to it?

I am designing a presentation on Proposal. Can anyone tell me the structure of the presentation. What topics I should cover in proposal presentation?

The key is to make a clear and concise argument.

Slide 1: Title

Slide 2: Overview of Topic (Engagement)

Slide 3: Brief history of your relationship

Slide 4: Examples of other successful relationships leading to engagement

Slide 5: Explain the benefits of engagement (ring, commitment, etc.)

Slide 6: Address the cons of engagement (buying the ring, commitment, etc.)

Slide 7: Lay out the post-engagement life (make this desirable)

Slide 8: Propose

Slide 9: "Thank you for listening to my Ted Talk"

I’m feeling a lot of synergies from our potential accretive merger, thus I’m creating this CIM for an exclusive peek under the skirt. I’ll sweeten the deal by throwing in a gemstone placed on some commodity, don’t kill yourself crunching the numbers on this one. Just get me the answer by tomorrow morning.

That is hilarious.

Really though, only 10 slides? Only slackers provide presentations with less than 30, and that's only for the meetings with the partners where they don't have time to deal with analyst drivel.

The only difference between Asset Management and Investment Research is assets. I generally see somebody I know on TV on Bloomberg/CNBC etc. once or twice a week. This sounds cool, until I remind myself that I see somebody I know on ESPN five days a week.
