How is the Covid19 in NY affecting the high finance?
I’ve heard Cuomo is locking down NY. Does this mean Wall Street will also go into isolation/quarantine?

Already have been. Traders typically don't have access to work from home and all of the traders are currently working from home now. BAML traders got pushed to our Stamford office from the city. It's been a shit show trying to get everything set up properly. Computers, monitors, connection, etc... shit blows or doesn’t work properly and I’m on phone yelling at help desk constantly especially with the market being the way it is, it’s chaos
I'm at a bank and have been working from home for the past 2 weeks. All of us analysts/associates expect our bonus to be 25-50% of what it was last year if this continues for long. That is not guidance from anyone high up, just our guess.

Exactly. This time, its the shut downs combined with a bear market. In normal bear markets, there are lots of layoffs. The shutdowns could make the employment situation much worse
