How much did you save your first year?

Wondering how much everyone managed to save (including 401k matching, etc.) in their first full year out of school. I'll be at about $55k including bonus after expected tax liability. Include market too - I'm in NYC.

How'd everyone else manage to do?

You saved $55K after tax as a first year in NYC?

That's pretty impressive. My first year there I burned through mountains of cash just going out and spending on other stuff like pinky rings. I can't be seen in public without a nice pinky ring.
